The biggest tragedy of Doctor Who for me is the fact that Jack never met the Ponds.

I mean, he would have liked Eleven and Amy.

But RORY.

He would have PURSUED Rory to the ends of the universe, and Rory would just be really confused and Amy would get super overprotective

"Captain Jack Harkness, and who are you?"

"HE’S MARRIED"

can you understand why I need this

Doctor Who star Peter Capaldi has revealed that there will be no flirting between the Doctor and his assistant Clara Oswald in the forthcoming series.

New Time Lord Capaldi, 56, has said that he was “adamant” that there will be “no Papa-Nicole moments”.

When asked about the age gap between himself and his 28-year-old co-star Jenna Coleman, Capaldi said: “They’ll be no flirting, that’s for sure. It’s not what this Doctor’s concerned with. It’s quite a fun relationship, but no, I did call and say, ‘I want no Papa-Nicole moments.’ I think there was a bit of tension with that at first but I was absolutely adamant.”

Sgt. Thomas McVicar of the Jersey City Police Department shot 22 year old Kwadir Felton, leaving him blind, after Kwadir pulled a gun on him, he claims. Kwadir Felton denied the accusation, stating that he doesn’t even carry guns.

"I don’t understand!" Felton yelled at a police officer before his mother was removed from the courtroom. "You didn’t have to shoot me in the head for no reason! You trying to charge me with something I didn’t do!"

SIGNAL BOOST

I have long despised our justice system. It literally makes me sick even just the people I have met that were falsely accused and had lives ruined because they’ve been so badly beat around by the flawed court system and cops that look at their job to bring in everyone, and not to have anything to do with innocence or guilt. The stupid thing is that most people believe that the court is accurate, if they find someone guilty they probably are, and that the police only bother you if you do something wrong, and if not, they exist only to protect you. And I’ve been shocked and disgusted how that has again and again not been the case. A justice system is necessary, but ours is rotten - just look at the number of incarcerated Americans vs. the population of many European countries - and its overlooked, either because it’s scary or because it’s “not your problem” - until it is. It hides behind the successes of the obvious cases while everyday incarcerating or even just punishing (and thereby ruining the lives of) innocents while letting rapists and stalkers off “for lack of evidence”. The court, like our society and job economy, is prejudiced, sexist, transphobic, racist, and classist — and as much as we would like to say “it’s not as bad as it used to be”, it’s a pill folks swallow to ignore how far else we have to go, or even to excuse their own behavior. And it bothers me. A lot. There is literally nothing worse than people saying “let it go, they won’t get away with it” when A) yes, they do and B) very little by very few is being done to fix it.
